Student programmer to the research project WallViz

Do you want to work with developing visualizations for large, multi-touch displays and be part of a research project? The Department of Computer Science seeks a student programmer to work on the research project (see wallviz.dk).

We expect you to be an excellent programmer that can work independently. Tasks include (an ideal applicant would be able to tick several of the below):

• Programming visualization techniques in Java, C#, OpenGL

• Programming multi-touch interaction techniques

• Using and adapting visualization and multitouch libraries (for instance D3, Prefuse, MT4J)

Working hours, etc. You will work around 15 hours per week; we are flexible for instance during exam time and holidays and hope you are flexible too. Work is done at the HCC group at DIKU-SC (Njalsgade 128). Start October 2013.

Salary and terms of employment are set in ”fællesoverenskomsten mellem Finansministeriet og Offentligt Ansattes Organisationer - Det Statslige Område (OAO-S) og organisationsaftalen for PROSA”.
