DIKU Bits: Researching Quality of Life of Smartphone-Centric Humans via Human-Centric Methods

Katarzyna Wac, Associate professor in the Human-Centred Computing section at DIKU.

Our smartphone and wearables know more about us than we can or even want to admit. In the coming years, these technologies will eventually become smarter and help us to stay healthy and achieve even better life  quality in the long term. But how do they recognize our physical activity, sleep, or stress patterns? What do they know about our condition and health risks?

Come to learn about what your smartphone or wearable can do for
you and you will never look at it in the same way again.
