IT Career Day 2020 - For students

Mark your calendar on 14 May 2020, where you can meet a large number of companies and organisations working with IT and software development. Who knows, maybe you will find your future employer at the next  IT Career Fair?

Who can you meet?

You can find a list of the companies that participated in 2019. When we have the full overview of this year's participants at the beginning of March we will upload the new list to this page. There will be both national as well as international firms and public organisations - ranging from small startups to global tech giants. Areas of employment can be within Fintech, transportation, public IT systems, teaching platforms, business intelligence, data science and data management, 3D scanning, game development and much more.

Why should you participate?

Gain insight into the variety of career paths you can follow and what the companies are looking for. Get in contact with the companies that interest you most and find out what competencies and qualifications are required. The career day can be your entrance to your first job after your studies, or a relevant study job, a project in practice or a collaboration project with a company.

  • 1 Minute of Madness
Get a quick introduction to each of the companies. They have exactly one minute and one slide to pitch their offerings to you. This gives you an overview of the companies and enables you to prioritize who to visit in the exhibition area.

  • CV Bar
Do you need to update your CV to present yourself to the companies? Well, then Jobindex is ready to assist you. You can also have a new portrait taken for your CV. If you wish to, we will collect CVs to send to the companies after the fair so they can follow up on potential career opportunities - more information on this will follow. Bring your current CV - preferably both a printed and digital version - and you will be guided to make your CV shine.

  • Job postings
On the career day, you will be able to see project and job postings from the companies to learn more about concrete offers for you to apply for.

  • Food and beer for all participants
At the end of the day, we will serve food and drinks for all participants.
