Ken Friis Larsen about the campaign 'Denmark needs more hackers'
Associate professor at Department of Computer Science at University of Copenhagen Ken Friis Larsen refers to the benefits of the current campaign 'Denmark needs more hackers'. Purpose: Educate more computer scientists and 'white hackers'.
In the future, Denmark - and the entire world - will need more IT professionals. In line with the technological development a greater need for experts in IT security will arise and we will need experts to protect us against new kinds of cyber crime.
Ken Friis Larsen says:
- It is important to Danish society to educate IT talents who can challenge increasing IT crime and understand the new forms of attacks from cyberspace.
The campaign 'Denmark needs more hackers' is launched by Ubisoft in co-operation with the University of Copenhagen (KU) to get more young Danes to study IT.
DIKU's Ken Friis Larsen is positive about the campaign: Hopefully, the campaign will disclose even more IT-Talents in Denmark.
