Postdoc in Programming Abstractions for Security & Privacy in Context-aware Systems

A postdoc is sought to partake on an investigation of how data management abstractions for distributed and reactive systems would interact with fine-grained data access policies or policies that take geographical context into account.
In particular, the project aims at exploring technologies such as actor-oriented databases and microservices and their interplay with location- and proximity-based access control and data sharing.
The postdoc’s duties will include research within Programming Abstractions and Spatial Data Management for Privacy by Design in Context-aware Systems as well as teaching.
The project will be supervised by associate professor, Marcos A. Vaz Salles and is part of a larger project on Programming technology foundations for Accountability, Privacy-by-design & Robustness in Context-aware Systems (Papricas.org) led by professor Thomas Hildebrandt. The post may also include performance of other duties.

The position is open from January 1, 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter, and the duration of the position is 2 years.

Terms of employment
The position is covered by the Memorandum on Job Structure for Academic Staff.
Terms of appointment and payment accord to the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
The starting salary is currently up to DKK 437.435 including annual supplement (+ pension up to DKK 74.801). Negotiation for salary supplement is possible.
