Postdoctoral position in Interaction with Artificial Intelligence
Computer Science
Faculty of Science
University of Copenhagen

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work in the intersection of Human-computer Interaction and Artificial Intelligence. At the University of Copenhagen, the researcher will be associated with both the Machine Learning section (Prof. Christian Igel) and Human-centered Computing section (Prof. Kasper Hornbæk).

The researcher will shape which aspects of interaction with AI that will be researched; candidate topics include models of human-AI interaction and collaboration, mixed reality and AI, mutual learning between AIs and people, empirical studies of interaction with AI, and models/studies of integration with cognitive tools. Therefore, extensive knowledge of human-computer interaction, intelligent user interfaces, machine learning, and computational models of interaction is essential. The day-to-day work will be in collaboration with Kasper Hornbæk, and the focus is, therefore, on human-computer interaction.

The position is two years full-time in the Section on Human-centered Computing at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen ( The University wishes our staff to reflect society's diversity and thus welcomes applications from all qualified candidates regardless of personal background.
