Sign up for IT Career Day on 6 May 2022, where you will have the chance to meet a wide range of interesting companies – perhaps your future employer. Now finally again in physical form!

Who can you meet?

On the right-hand side, you can see the list of companies that have signed up. There are national as well as international companies from start-ups to the big ones from a wide range of areas such as FinTech, transport technology, public IT, learning, business intelligence, data management, 3D scanning, game development and much more.

What do you get out of participating?

Gain insight into which career paths you can choose and what the companies are looking for. Create personal contact with the companies that interest you, and find out about the competencies and skills that the different positions need. The career day can be your gateway to a job after your studies, as well as student jobs, business projects and collaboration with the companies.

Activities

  • 1 Minute of Madness
    Get a quick introduction to all companies. Each company has one minute and one slide to present itself. This gives you the opportunity to get a quick overview of all companies so that you can subsequently focus on the companies that interest you when you have to visit them in the stands.

  • CV Bar
    Do you need a good CV to present your profile to the companies? Then Jobindex will be ready to help you. If you want to do this, we will collect CVs that we submit to the companies after the career day, so they can keep up to date on possible job opportunities. Bring your current CV - preferably both digitally and a print version - and get good advice on how to sharpen it.

  • Company Dating
    Have one-to-one-conversations for 10 minutes with up to six companies. Registration has closed for this event.

  • Food and drinks for everyone
    At the end of the afternoon, there will be food, beer and soft drinks for all participating students.

Unlike the others we are not a company presenting job openings 

We are part of Copenhagen Municipality and are offering two programs for international students, sponsored by different cooperative partners, with the goal of preparing you for a career in Denmark.  

 

Greater Copenhagen Career Program, lasting for 6 months. The program includes different events, including:  

  • Company visits and matchmaking activities
  • Job search seminars: CV, cover letter and LinkedIn
  • Presentation Technique: How to present yourself in a networking or job interview situation
  • You will also be matched with a personal career mentor

 

We find the program most beneficial if you participate during the second to last semester of your studies (Bachelor, Master or PhD). The activities take place in the afternoon and evening hours and you are expected to take part in 1-2 activities a month.

 

 

Head Start, a two-day course including:

  • Job search seminars: CV, cover letter and LinkedIn
  • Presentation Technique: How to present yourself in a networking situation
  • 1-1 feedback on job search with one of our business consultants

 

Head Start is targeted students in the beginning of their bachelor or master's degree.

For the backend, we use PyTorch on GCP and methods from deep learning and causal ML, with a lot of data pipelines using Beam and DBT, and we love serverless.
