Courses and Programmes
At Department of Computer Science at University of Copenhagen (DIKU) we offer Bachelor and Master's programmes in Computer Science as well as interdisciplinary IT programmes. From the Summer of 2019, we also offer a bachelor programme in machine learning and data science as well as in computer science and economy.
Furthermore we offer a PhD programme, courses for credit students and guest students, continuing education and summer schools and courses. You can also study Computer Science at DIKU as an exchange student.
All Bachelor's programmes are taught in Danish whereas the Master's and PhD programmes are offered in English.

All Master's Programmes (excl Communication and IT) are taught in English.

A guest student is a full degree student at a non-partner university abroad or an exchange student at another Danish university. As a guest student, you apply for admission to the Faculty of Science on an individual basis. This means that you do not apply through an exchange agreement or as a full degree seeking MSc student. As a guest student, you normally enroll for one or two semesters.
Each Summer, DIKU organises summer schools in specialised computer science areas for both DIKU students and students from other universities. Previous summer schools has focused on areas such as Online Learning and Advanced Java.

The Faculty of Science offers a range of summer courses, which students from anywhere in the world can attend.
A credit student is a full degree student or PhD student at one of the other faculties at UCPH or at another Danish education institution. Attending a course as a credit student is free of charge.
You can update or upgrade your qualifications in computer science by taking BSc or MSc courses as single courses.
Furthermore it's possible to take part-time master programmes, PhD courses and short term courses and seminars in various areas at the SCIENCE faculty.
Each summer, University of Copenhagen offers a variety of 5-day intensive summer courses for specialists and managers. In 2019, the following courses in the field of computer science were offered:

- Deep Learning
