Abstract
This talk will be divided into two parts. In the first part, I would like to introduce the Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist University. I will first give an overview of the Hong Kong Baptist University and Department of Computer Science. After that, I will focus on the research at the Department as well as our PhD programme. In particular, I will share the prestige Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) which was initiated by the Hong Kong SAR Government. It will take around 30 mins for part I. Part II will be Q&A. I will be happy to answer any questions.

Bio
Pong C Yuen received his B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering with first class honours in 1989 from City Polytechnic of Hong Kong, and his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 1993 from The University of Hong Kong. He joined the Hong Kong Baptist University in 1993, and served as the Head of Department of Computer Science from 2011 – 2017.
