Title:
A tale of two electrons: Simulation Spin-Qubit Quantum Devices.
Abstract:
To build a quantum computer, we need to understand its fabrication and behaviour. For each device, we have to learn how the small differences in manufacturing change its model parameters and ideally, we want to learn the model parameters from as few measurements as possible. But how can you learn the unknown? With device simulations. In this talk, I will focus on the computer science behind simulating spin-qubit devices and how to do that in a way that does not take hours or days, but also show how such a simulation is useful for practitioners.
Time and place:
February 3rd in Lille UP1 from 12:15-13:00.
