EADS Summer School on Hashing: Theory and Applications

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen hosted the EADS Summer School on Harshing from July 14th to July 17th, 2014.

Hashing is used everywhere in computing and is becoming increasingly important with the exploding amount of data. This summer school aimed to provide an in-depth introduction to hashing, both theory and applications. The topics range from the modern theory of hashing to actual implementations of hash functions that are both efficient and provide the necessary probabilistic guarantees.

The summer school targeted graduate students (PhD and advanced Master's students) and researchers interested in hashing.
