For companies

At the IT Career Day, your company will have the opportunity to meet bachelor's and master's students from Computer Science and other IT-related study programmes at the University of Copenhagen to talk about career and job opportunities, student jobs and projects. It is a unique opportunity to meet the students and establish contact with potential future employees. 

Companies with a Premium membership of DIKU Business Club have a priority to a free stand.

Registration has closed for companies for 2023.

Stands

This year we have optimized the stand area for the IT Career Day by measuring all the spaces to ensure the best possible distribution of companies and flow of students. Therefore, this year we are offering 3 types of stands:

  • 26 Premium stands of 5m2 (You get 3 high tables, space for 2-3 rollups & 5 people).
  • 24 large stands of 2m2 (You get 2 high tables, space for 2 rollups & 3 people).
  • 7 Small stands of 1m2 (You get 1 high table, space for 1 rollup & 2 people).

Stands can be set up from 11:00 AM on the same day. You are responsible for setting up your stands yourself.  Dismantling of the stands takes place from 6:00 PM, when the Career Day officially ends.

There will be power supply evenly distributed over the entire stand area. If you have equipment requiring a lot of power, please bring extra sockets and extension cords. Wifi will be available.

Please be aware of:

  • One minute of madness takes place in our largest auditorium, where the companies pitch their offers to the students.
  • Lounge areas will be set up with reserved 1-1 tables, where students can be invited to have a more in-depth conversation about job opportunities, career perspectives or project collaboration.
  • Stand area that is open from start to finish.

The students are offered CV help, so your company can receive even more qualified applications from our candidates. We obtain these CVs from those students, who have uploaded CVs, and send them to those of you who are interested in receiving them. You can tick that off in the registration form.

Food

We offer a light lunch to the participating companies, which will be served from 12:00 PM to 2.30 PM. You will all be given a basket with coffee/tea, water and snacks before kick-off. At the end of the day, there will be an opportunity for networking with the other companies and students, where we will offer beer, water and snacks.

Communication 

We will send you more practical information via e-mail when your registration has been confirmed. You will receive a link on which we continuously post all information to participating companies. All practical information in one place.

We will start announcing Career Day for students in March 2023.
