My present research involves:

  1. Theoretical image processing such as Scale-space theory.
  2. Stochastic geometry such as statistical analysis of points and shapes
  3. Analysis of microscope and synchrotron images.
  4.  

Primære forskningsområder

My primary research field is Computer Science (Datalogi) and particularly mathematical and medical image processing (Billedbehandling), computer graphics (Computergrafik), information theory (Informationsteori), and pattern recognition (Mønstergenkendelse).

Undervisnings- og vejledningsområder

I teach computer science at bachelor, master, and phd level.  Presently I'm involved in the following courses:

  • Programmering og problemløsning
  • Cross Institutional Bioimaging
  • Signal and Image Processing
  • Advanced Deep Learning

I accept projects in

  • Theory of Image Processing
  • Analysis of microscope and synchrotron images

And most of my project are collaborations with external problem providers.
