Part-time Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science

University of Copenhagen has since 2018 offered a 4-year business master degree in Computer Science. The degree program is organized on a part-time basis, so that students are able to fit into relevant work for at least 25 hours per week.

How does the program work?
The program is organized on a part-time basis over a four-year period, so that the student can work for a minimum of 25 hours a week and attend the teaching at the university together with the other master's students. The student must complete the same number of compulsory and elective courses as the full-time students and write master's thesis, just over several years.
What are the formal requirements for the applicant?
Students who expect to complete a bachelor's degree in computer science or another qualifying degree program are eligible to apply for the scheme in the current year. But also by employees who have previously taken a bachelor's degree in a qualifying degree program and now have the courage to continue their studies, but at the same time want to maintain a permanent job.
In order to meet the requirements for applying to a business candidate, the employee must be employed by the company on the basis of a relevant and qualifying Bachelor's degree and be able to document an employment agreement of at least 25 hours per week. The qualifying examination must be max. Be 4 years old at the time of application.
