At the Department of Computer Science, we research within all three corners of computer science; algorithms, people, and data. Our research solves problems within all feasible areas of our society where data play a role. We prefer collaboration across disciplines and borders, and we collaborate with national and international research environments, businesses, and public institutions.

Our research is organized into eight research sections and three research centres. Furthermore, we have a range of specialized research groups directly affiliated with one or more sections.
