Symposium on Artificial Intelligence and Pharmacology – Present and Future

The symposium aims to accelerate and coordinate the development of AI in pharmacology and to ensure it is developed and applied ethically, contributing to a safer drug development pipeline and patient safety.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is being applied to pharmacology with the potential to improve drug discovery, refine treatment plans tailored to individual patients, and ensure that medications are safe and effective. Understanding and applying this new technology requires unprecedented collaborations to ensure safe and ethical AI tools.

Selected keynote speakers will introduce important topics and initiate discussion on the possibilities and challenges of implementing AI solutions within pharmacology.

To engage early-career researchers, a special 'Shark Tank'-inspired session will invite selected innovative projects to be presented by younger researchers to a panel of experts, with the best presentation being selected and awarded.

The symposium is orchestrated by a committee from the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at Bispebjerg Hospital.

Breakfast is from 9:00 to 9:30

The program begins at 9:30 and the symposium finishes at 17:30.
