Strategy

DIKU’s strategy runs for a five-year period from 2025 to 2030 and is developed in the framework of the University of Copenhagen's new strategy (2030). It reflects the entire department and has been developed with the involvement of both employees and students.

The strategy has internal and external focus although the internal focus might be more evident. Because we believe that academic freedom, time for immersion, career development, diversity, curiosity, strong values, and synergies between research, education and innovation create the best foundation for strong collaboration, world-class research, and quality education, thereby becoming a world-leading Computer Science department that contributes to the world around us.

Vision

To become a leading Computer Science department where staff and students thrive.
